Part Time Administrator / Bookkeeper

About the role:

They require an experienced administrator to help with day-to-day office management and simple book-keeping. They also want to streamline internal processes and require an administrator to help with day-to-day paperwork and contracts. Tasks will include:

Book-Keeping

  • Day to day book keeping using Xero & ConnectWise
  • Monitoring invoicing in ConnectWise
  • Monitoring agreements in ConnectWise
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Ensuring supplier invoices are paid on time
  • Putting together payroll files for outsources payroll function

Administration

  • Putting together basic quotes for IT equipment (training provided)
  • Putting together contracts for clients – monitoring of contracts
  • Inventory management; checking stock in against tickets, logging serial numbers etc
  • Basic purchasing of equipment from tickets
  • Registering of warranties
  • Basic PA work (calendar management etc)

Experience / Education needed to become the successful Bookkeeper / Administrator:  

  • Experience with Xero desirable
  • Book-keeping qualifications desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Especially Word and Excel)
  • General computer literacy to a good standard
  • Excellent written English required

Location: Walsall (WS2)

Salary: £22,000-£25,000 (depending on experience, paid pro-rata in line with agreed hours)

Hours: Part-Time (0.8 of FTE) - 30 hours a week.  There is some flexibility regarding how these hours can be worked, whether this is 4 full days or hours spread across Monday -Friday (10am – 4pm for example).  Please provide some indication of your salary expecations and preferred working pattern in your covering email / letter.
